Thursday last week, Google released the results of research on the internet speed in both desktop computers and mobile devices in 50 countries with the fastest internet speeds. Of the fifty states, the category of desktop computers, Slovakia recorded themselves as the fastest, while Indonesia, has the slowest internet speeds.

Internet speed is measured from the average time to load a web page. The result, the average time it takes to load a web page via desktop computers in Slovakia was 3.3 seconds, faster than South Korea (3.5 seconds), Czech (3.7 seconds), Netherlands (3, 9) and Japan (4 seconds). Meanwhile, if using a mobile device, South Korea became the fastest. The average time it takes to load a web page via mobile devices in South Korea is (4.8 seconds). Below this there are Denmark (5.2 seconds), Hong Kong (5.9), Norway (6 seconds) and Sweden (6.1).

In Indonesia, the figure recorded was 20.3 seconds to 12.9 seconds and desktop computers to mobile devices. Indonesia is not only a better rank in the category of mobile compared to the desktop category, in terms of speed was the average time to load pages faster than the mobile using the desktop.
