Android was highlighted recently due to begin to bloom surrounded malicious program (malware). Action of this viral infection occurs even in the Android Market, where users install new applications.
Users would not necessarily downloading malware. Because the malicious programs hiding behind the name is very popular applications, such as Angry Birds.
But actually if it is the bad application. It's just that the victim is less nimble and not examined further, until eventually infected.
Here are two quick tips provided security firm Trend Micro to prevent malware infections in the Android Market, now Google Play:
1. Who is that application developers?
Cybercriminals always follow the regular application of what is popular, then they make copies. For example, a malicious application for the famous game Angry Birds, made by Rovio Mobile, had made her a malicious trick of Logastrod developer.
To ensure the application has a reputation maker, a check is how the developer provide a note on the application ever made. If the developer is poor information, the better you ignore to install the application.
Note the name of the author. The picture above is the creator of Rovio Mobile (makers of the official Angry Birds).
For the picture above, the name of the author is different, namely Logastrod. Yet at the same game. So obviously, this is a fake game Angry Birds.
2. Ratings and reviews
In the original application usually get a lot of ratings from multiple reviewers in the Android market, while only providing a false application is less than twenty rating.
The more ratings and reviews are given, it means you enter a secured application page properly.
